Katherine Lake camping season runs from the May long weekend to the third Sunday in September.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF OPEN FIRE RESTRICTION
EFFECTIVE NOON, WEDNESDAY, JULY 18, 2018 AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:
A campfire ban is in effect for all areas within the Sunshine Coast Fire Protection Districts. This includes all fires whether for warmth, cooking or for ceremonial purposes and all beach fires. Fires in stoves or barbecues using gas or briquettes in a CSA approved appliance are allowed. For more information, please contact your local fire department.
This picturesque lake is a popular swimming spot to enjoy for a day, or as part of a family camping trip.
Location: North end of Pender Harbour, turn off Highway 101 onto Garden Bay Road (at the Petro Can gas station). Continue 5.5 kms on Garden Bay Road. Katherine Lake signpost is on your right.
Area: 37.0 hectares (91.4 acres)
Camping fees payable by Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash or cheque are payable at check in: $18.00 per night per party and $22.00 for an RV site.
Klein Lake Recreation Site & Campground

Klein Lake Campground is managed by the Egmont Community Club. Inquiries can be made by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Location: Located at the north end of the Sunshine Coast, this lake can be reached by taking North Lake Road, accessed from Egmont Road just south of the Earls Cove ferry terminal. Take North Lake Road for approximatley 3.6 kms and you will find the entrance to Klein Lake Park and Campground.
Amenities: This is a popular camping spot with a seasonal onsite caretaker, 25 tenting sites, smaller RV sites (these do not allow for RV hookups and there are no sanitation flush facilities), public toilets, and a day use picnic area. One campsite and toilet facility is wheelchair accessible.
The camping season runs from April 15th to September 30th.
Reservations cannot be made at Klein Lake. This site runs on a first come first serve basis.
The beautiful Suncoast Trail, linking Klein Lake to the Halfmoon Bay area can be accessed from Klein Lake.
